Else Studio started as a way to fill my creative cup and help others build brands that feel like them.

The name ties back to me (Chelsea), but it also represents choosing something different. The path that felt more aligned.

Creativity was always there, but design wasn’t always the plan. I originally set out to study visual arts, but when the course was cancelled, I pivoted into Visual Communication and Design. That unexpected shift took me to Newcastle and quietly reshaped everything.

After graduating, I worked in-house for household fragrance brands, where my love for branding systems really took hold. From illustrating packaging to shaping creative direction, I saw ideas move from concept to something you could pick up off a shelf. That moment built my confidence in a big way. Like… oh. People will actually buy this.

Else Studio is for small businesses and creative founders who want to build something meaningful and need branding that supports it. Every colour, curve and type choice is considered so your brand doesn’t just look good, it feels right.

When I’m not designing, I’m usually at the gym, on a walk with a podcast in my ear, down at North Narrabeen for a dip, or building a Spotify playlist for very specific moods.
